Police looking for suspects in Lakeview smash and grab

According to the latest reports from the Chicago Police Department, an incident of a smash-and-grab robbery occurred in the Lakeview neighborhood on the morning of Sunday, March 26, 2023. The crime took place around 4:20 a.m. in the 2900 block of North Lincoln Avenue.

As per the police statement, three unidentified males exited from a black sport utility vehicle (SUV) and proceeded to shatter the front entrance door of a local business using an unknown object. Once they gained entry, the trio proceeded to take various items from within the establishment. No injuries were reported during the incident, and currently, no arrests have been made.
