Amy Lou Christensen Peterson

Amy Lou Christensen Peterson was born on August 18, 1961, in Richfield, Utah, to Quinn Arlie Christensen and Betty Lou Hunt Christensen. She grew up in Central Utah, where she developed a strong connection with her Mormon faith and community.

In 1989, Amy graduated from Brigham Young University (BYU) with a Bachelor's degree in Nursing. After completing her education, she began her career as a registered nurse, dedicating herself to caring for others.

On April 17, 1992, Amy married Justin Peterson in the Salt Lake Temple. Their union was blessed with four beautiful children: two sons and two daughters. Together, they created a loving and supportive home environment that nurtured their children's growth and development.

Amy's passion for nursing continued throughout her marriage, and she made significant contributions to the healthcare industry during her career. Her dedication and compassionate care touched the lives of countless patients and their families.

Amy's faith played an essential role in her life, and she was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church). She served in various callings and leadership positions within the church and was known for her strong testimony and unwavering commitment to her beliefs.

In her free time, Amy enjoyed spending time with her family, traveling, and engaging in creative pursuits such as painting and crafting. Her warm personality and infectious laugh brought joy and happiness to those around her.

On April 9, 2024, Amy Lou Christensen Peterson passed away peacefully at her residence, leaving behind a legacy of love, compassion, and dedication. Her memory will be cherished by her husband, Justin; their four children; her parents, Quinn and Betty Lou; and countless friends and colleagues. Her life served as an inspiration to all who knew her, and her spirit will continue to live on through the lives she touched.

Amy's funeral services were held at the LDS Church in her community, where friends and family gathered to celebrate her life and remember the precious memories they shared with her. Her ashes were laid to rest in the Richfield City Cemetery, surrounded by the beautiful landscapes of Central Utah that held a special place in her heart.
