The UNLV women's basketball team faced off against Boise State on Wednesday in a closely contested game at Thomas & Mack Center. Despite trailing for most of the game, the Lady Rebels managed to mount a comeback and ultimately come away with a hard-fought victory over the Broncos.
The first half of the game saw Boise State take an early lead, with UNLV struggling to keep up. However, in the second half, the Lady Rebels began to gain ground, slowly closing the gap between the two teams. With just a few minutes remaining on the clock and the score tied at 67-67, UNLV's Aisha Scott hit a clutch three-pointer to give the team a 70-67 lead. Boise State attempted to come back, but it was too late, as UNLV held on for the win.
The victory was a significant one for UNLV, as it marked their first win in Mountain West Conference play this season. The Lady Rebels are now 2-3 in conference, with their next game coming up against San Diego State on Saturday at Thomas & Mack Center.
