Shettima inaugurates NAHCON Board

On Tuesday, August 23rd, 2021, the Vice President of Nigeria, Kashim Shettima, inaugurated the board of the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) at the State House in Abuja. The NAHCON is responsible for overseeing the affairs of pilgrims traveling to Mecca for the annual hajj pilgrimage.

During his speech, Shettima emphasized the importance of synergy and collaboration among board members to bring fresh ideas and perspectives to the organization. He also urged them to work towards improving the welfare of pilgrims and ensuring a smooth and successful hajj journey for all.

The NAHCON Board is made up of 13 members, including the Chairman, Alhaji Muhammadu Musa Bello, who was also inaugurated by Shettima. The board includes representatives from various states and regions in Nigeria, as well as experts in areas such as finance, logistics, and administration.

The inauguration of the NAHCON Board marks the beginning of a new era for the organization, with a focus on improving the hajj experience for pilgrims and ensuring that the commission operates efficiently and effectively.
