SQL table Design Best Practices

When working with SQL tables, sometimes it is frustrating to find no columns with "Date" the data was modified. This column should be in every table for a Database Administrator to know when the table was updated. It is important to create a separate Database to keep the Meta Data in, for example, you would like to know how many queries the table is receiving, whether it is indexed or not. Most of these tools are already build in the Database Management Application, however, it is smart to be aware of all these metadata.

Most successful applications keep metadata and logs securely for DevOps to evaluate and fix problems. When looking into this matter, I found a website that had helpful tips, the link can be found here.
